The most beautiful job in the world is a dreamer. The road towards achieving the dream is bittersweet, but it’s also extremely fulfilling at the same time. Although there were some really difficult times during this journey, the dream finally was built – The Secret Garden. The starting point of The Secret Garden was a dream and it turned into a dream-like world in reality so beautiful and relaxing that you wouldn’t want to leave it behind.

Mr. Wu lived in Brazil for eight years before returning to his hometown in Nantou, Taiwan. Upon his return, Mr. Wu dreamt about building his new home, a sanctuary for his retirement. Upon an opportune visit, Mr. Wu went to The Taiwan Adventist Collage in Nantou, where his wife had been a pupil. He fell in love immediately with the beauty of the school ground from landscape, culture to local residents – Mr. Wu decided that this was the place to stay.

Following the narrow passage to discover The Secret Garden situated beside a field of Assam black tea plantation. More than twenty-years had gone by, Mr. Wu continues to design, craft and build every single detail within each of the five villas on site. Mr. Wu has thoughtfully considered every element experienced at The Secret Garden and together they weave together many life stories over-time.
